# Global Racing League

> The Global Racing League (GRL) is the premier iRacing sim racing community featuring five competitive series with clean, competitive racing. We welcome drivers of all skill levels who value respectful competition.

## About

The Global Racing League organizes competitive iRacing events across multiple car and track combinations. Founded on the principles of clean racing and community, GRL provides a structured championship experience with professional stewarding, Pro/Am class divisions, and multiple race formats.

- Drivers are divided into Pro and Am classes based on pace, not results
- Independent stewarding teams ensure fair and unbiased incident reviews
- All Lap 1 incidents are automatically reviewed by stewards

## Race Formats

- **Classic Heats**: Two-race format. Qualifying sets the grid for Race 1, top 8 reversed for Race 2.
- **Super Heats**: Three-race format. Qualifying sets the grid for Race 1, top 4 reversed for Race 2, top 8 reversed for Race 3.
- **Endurance**: A single 50-minute race with mandatory pit stops. Strategy and consistency are key.

- **F4 Cup Challenge** (`f4`): Formula 4 open-wheel racing
- **MX5/GT4 Challenge** (`mx5-gt4`): Multiclass racing with MX-5 and GT4 cars
- **Euro Jetta Cup Challenge** (`jetta-eu`): European Jetta Cup racing
- **Americas Porsche Cup Challenge** (`pcup-na`): North American Porsche Cup racing
- **Euro/Global Porsche Cup Challenge** (`pcup-eu`): European and global Porsche Cup racing
